Genealogy Search Request
County Clerk Dear Searcher: We have initiated a fee schedule for searching, per CPLR 8021 b9. The fee is $20.00 an hour, with a minimum charge of $10.00 for up to ½ hour. If you decide you wish copies, copy fees are $.65 a page, minimum of $1.30 per document.There is no charge (other than copy costs) to searchers who conduct their own searches in our office.
If you wish to proceed with the search, please print and then fill out the form at the bottom of this letter and either return to: Wayne County Clerk, P O Box 608, Lyons NY 14489-0608. Upon receipt of the completed form, a search will be conducted and a bill and copies (if requested) will be forwarded to you. Payment will be due within 30 days of the date of the bill.
