He served in Co. K, 48 Ind., Infantry. He married a Catherine
Hughes d/o Nathan Hughes, born Dec. 1822 in Ohio.
Chester was a Blacksmith by trade. Chester and Catherine had
13 children born to this union. Only four living to adulthood.
They may have lived in Ohio, and settled in Indiana.

Macedon. Both died and buried in Macedon. Son John Hyrem TICE,
born 1876 married Kittie (Catherine) REEVES, born 1879 in Macedon.
She died when 2 daughters, Sara and Catherine were young. I
would be happy to share information with you. I am also looking
for photos of John H. Tice and Kittie Reeves, my living mother’s
