Comments: I am trying
to find the family of James and Phebe(Haight) Weaver. Phebe
died in Wayne County around 1829, she had children; I know one
was named Horace Weaver and when he was born. But trying to
find out who her other children were; and would like to know
more about James Weaver her husband. After Phebe died James
moved the family to LaSalle Monroe Co. Mich. Terr., in 1834.
James died there in 1845.

| Comments: I'm looking
for information about the hometown in Germany of Karl and Albert
WOEHR, who lived in Clyde and Lyons from the late 1800s. I have
obtained Karl's immigration ship listing, in 1880, and both
of their Naturalization papers, dated 1891 (Karl, changed to
"Charles" by clerk), and 1899 (Albert), but no hometown
is noted. I know that Karl (Carl) is buried in Elmwood Cemetery
in Lyons. Would his hometown be listed on death records or on
church records (probably Lutheran)?
I spoke to Elsie Woehr DONOVAN in Clyde before her death
in 2001, and she believed the hometown was "Furbach"
or "Forbach", near Stuttgart, but I have not been
able to verify the town, as there are several with similar
pronunciation. Does anyone have the current address of Elsie's
daughter Patricia Hall?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Comments: Looking for any info on the August L. Goedecke
family. According to the 1860 census, the family was living
in Lyons, New York. August was married to a Dorothy and had
a number of children. His daughter, Bertha Goedecke married
a Victor Hugo Klein and moved to St Louis. It appears that
after the death of August, Dorothy moved there also as she
is listed in the 1900 census. August was listed as a physician/surgeon.

Comments: Looking for any information on the August L. Goedecke
family. He was a physician/surgeon living in Lyons, New York
in 1860 (according to the census) with his wife Dorothy and
a few children. I believe he lived there until he died and
had several more children. I believe his wife moved to St
Louis by 1900 where her daughter Bertha Goedeke was living,
married to a Victor Hugo Klein. This is my actual connection.
