Just starting to research the maternal side of my "tree". Most of my sources have been the Census' and info from the Wayne County GenWeb site.

Comments: I am researching information on the family of George D. Williams born June 24, 1811 in Williamson. Brother of Elijah, Ryan, Lorenzo, and another whos name has been lost. George married Ann Lyon of Mendon on April 12, 1832. Specifically, I am seeking his parents. If you are a decendant of George or any of his brothers, I would very much like to communicate with you. Any info that could lead me to the answers I seek would be appreciated.

Comments: Have been searching for years for information on the PLYTER family. Any help will be truly appreciated.
Roger Etson Plyter, born February 14, 1915; died March 1983 in Sacramento, California. He married Lorraine Melba VanLare about 1938 in New York. Lorraine was the d/o Embert VanLare and Elsie Shippers. Lorraine was born February 27, 1919 in Williamson, Wayne County, New York and died August 22, 1990 in Macedon, New York and is buried at Clifton Springs, New York. Roger & Lorraine divorced and Lorraine married (2) ______ King.
According to records found, Roger was born in Panama Canal Zone, the son of Peter Plyter and Elizabeth Orbaker, and some records state he was adopted by Peter & Elizabeth.
Does anyone have any information on the PLYTER or VanLARE families ??
