Stormwater Management Program

The Wayne County Highway Department is a part of the Ontario-Wayne Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) which include parts of the Towns of Victor, Farmington, Macedon, Ontario, and Walworth, the Villages of Victor and Macedon and the Wayne and Ontario County Highway Departments.

There are six Minimum Control Measures for Stormwater Management programs:

  1. Public Education and Outreach
  2. Public Involvement/Participation
  3. Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination
  4. Construction Site Stormwater Runoff Control
  5. Post-Construction Stormwater Management
  6. Pollution Prevention/Good Housekeeping
