Innovative Ideas
- Computerized Signage - Now in use for Wayne County.The state-of-the-art equipment produces signs very quickly and will ensure that the signs meet state and federal regulations. Consolidated service between the County and towns and villages by 2005 will be a first in the state of consolidated sign services.
- Gravel - Wayne County produces its own gravel from pits under permit. A cost effective move when pits are located near roadwork that is scheduled to be done.
- Striper - This is a revenue producing machine that is used for centerline and edgeline striping. Wayne County does work for Wayne County, villages and towns, NY State and other counties.
